How We Give Back
Giving back isn’t just something we talk about, it’s built into the way we run our practice. For every new patient who walks through our doors, we donate $50 to a local nonprofit making an impact in Shelby County. These gifts aren’t one-time gestures; they’re part of an ongoing effort to invest in the community that supports us every day. Whether we’re funding educational scholarships, backing youth programs, or contributing to local healthcare, our goal is simple: make every smile we treat part of something even bigger.
2025 Supporting Early Learning in Shelby County
This year, we’re proud to partner with Early Learning Shelby County, an organization committed to supporting high-quality early education and healthy development for our youngest neighbors—birth to age five.
They champion innovative, evidence-based practices and work to ensure that every family in Shelby County has access to the care and resources their children deserve. By promoting better policies and raising community awareness, Early Learning Shelby County is building a stronger foundation for tomorrow’s leaders.

Past Community Partners
2023–2024 Blue River Dental Scholarship
We focused on building the Blue River Dental Scholarship, created through the Blue River Community Foundation. With a goal of raising $20,000, we support aspiring dental assistants and hygienists; fueling new careers in dental care and celebrating the talents we count on in our own team.
Dr. Pumphrey and Dr. Crandall created this scholarship through the Blue River Community Foundation to provide financial support to students wishing to pursue a career in dental assisting or dental hygiene. Both doctors have enjoyed a successful, fulfilling career due in large part to the talents and dedication of the dental care providers working alongside them. They hope to encourage those interested in healthcare to pursue a career in dentistry!
2022
We donated $21,750 to Girls Inc. of Shelby County, supporting its mission to empower young girls plus, our hygienist Kelly joined in teaching healthy habits and confidence.
2021
We contributed $15,150 to the Major Health Foundation, reflecting our multi-year commitment to local wellbeing.
